The dining room was buzzing and we could hear the trio in the bar area. Seems to me that's a bit of a lazy garnish. They fixed it and did do quickly, but why chefs feel the need to bury everything in parsley is beyond me. We had asked that no parsley garnish be put on the food and the first time it came out there was a lot of parsley on everything. Nonetheless the malbec I had was very nice. There's a lengthy wine list but a very limited list for just a glass. The best thing was the lobster mashed potatoes. We decided to try the bananas foster for dessert and it was just yummy. Hubby had the crab stuffed shrimp and said it was wonderful. which was just a tiny bit overcooked but that's likely a personal preference and a side of scallops which were outstanding. We each got the lobster bisque which was really nice with a large chunk of lobster, bruschetta, and creme fraiche. The bread came out quickly and was nice and hot. We were seated right on time in comfortable seating. I have not experienced a finer restaurant in quite a long time, but this place left us speechless. Chilean Sea Bass: my wife fell is love with this fish and preparation.Įddie V's was just about perfection from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Georges Bank Scallops: simply the best prepared scallops I've had in 10 years. Tuna Tartare: absolutely fresh and delicious. Tableside Steak Tartare: expertly prepared at the table with a spot on flavor profile. Oysters: fresh as they come, served with a perfect mignonette. She was always around when we needed her and yet we never felt overserved either.
