The film's title poster was released on 3 December 2019, with the title being revealed as Tuck Jagadish.Although there was no information on the genre or the plot, it speculated that the protagonist's character in the film will be reportedly suffering from bipolar disorder, for which Nani clarified that the news is false. The film was reportedly produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi, under the banner Shine Screens. In August 2019, sources claimed that Nani will collaborate with Shiva Nirvana, for an untitled project, marking their second collaboration after Ninnu Kori (2017). The theatrical release of this film was deferred multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic and as result, Tuck Jagadish is now scheduled to release on 10 September 2021 on Amazon Prime Video coinciding with the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi Thaman and background music scored by Gopi Sundar, with cinematography by Prasad Murella and editing by Prawin Pudi. The film stars Nani, Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh and Jagapathi Babu in prominent roles. It is produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under the banner Shine Screens. Apart from the sluggish narration in a few scenes and old plot-line, the rest of everything goes well in Tuck Jagadish.Tuck Jagadish is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language action family drama film written and directed by Shiva Nirvana. Things only pick up the pace during the pre-interval block and after that, there is a steady narration in the second half. This makes the screenplay slow, especially in the first half.

He packed the screenplay with good emotional and mass scenes but there are a lot of lengthy unwanted sequences as well. Shiva Nirvana didn't shy away from taking an old formula and tried to give it his own touch. Tuck Jagadish is a formulaic story that we have seen so many times in Telugu cinema. Prasad Murella's cinematography sets up the native mood. Gopi Sundar's background score worked well in most of the parts. There are too many characters that lack depth and they will not create any impact on the audience.Ī couple of songs composed by Thaman are good. His intentions are genuine but the execution falters a bit. It looks like the director wanted to portray the family values that he has seen from his childhood in his native place. Rest others have performed according to their limitations.ĭirector Shiva Nirvana chose a genre that is completely different from his earlier films Ninnu Kori and Majili. Daniel Balaji is menacing and so is Thiruveer. Jagapathi Babu did his grey-shaded role with perfection. Aishwarya Rajesh got a limited role but she makes an impact. Adishesha has two sons with his first wife Tulsamma (Bosu and Jagadish) and two daughters and a son with his second wife Arjunamma (Ganga, Kumari, and Bujji who is mute). She has fit the role of a village belle and we wish to see her more on the screen. Adisesha Naidu is the headman of Bhudevipuram village. Ritu Varma got a potential role and she did it well. He makes the viewers cry during the latter half of the film. There is no need of explaining his prowess in emotional scenes. Unlike being loud, the actor does the role with utmost subtlety. This is one of the very few commercial mass roles done by the actor and he did it with ease. Tuck Jagadish will be an OTT release and it will be aired on Amazon Prime on 10th. Nani singularly carried the entire film on his shoulders. Then the plot shifts to an emotional base revealing that Jagapathi Babu is not Nanis family member. How Tuck manages to solve the family issues, as well as the village issues, form the main crux of the film. The sudden demise of Adiseshula Naidu changes the entire course of the film and arises tensions in his family. The latter falls for the village's VRO Gummadi Varalaxmi (Ritu Varma). Adiseshula Naidu has five children, which includes Bose (Jagapathi Babu) and Tuck Jagadish (Nani).

While Adiseshula Naidu (Nasser) is a people's messiah who always thinks about their welfare, Veerendra Naidu (Daniel Balaji) is a leech who tries to grab the power in the entire village. The story is entirely set in the village of Bhudevipuram. Tuck Jagadish premiered on the Amazon Prime Video and here is the review of it:
